Brief Introduction

Xiamen Institute of Technology£¬hereinafter referred to as XIT, is a full-time private undergraduate institute approved by the Ministry of Education of the People¡¯s Republic of China. It covers 704.1 mu (approximately 469,402 m²) with a total construction area of 500,000 m². The landscape endows the campus with a dignified and elegant style, while the perfect teaching and living facilities together make it a modern cultural palace. Since its foundation in 2009, XIT alwaysinsists on optimizing its management structure, deepening its teaching reform as well as focusing on developing engineering majors under the guidance of the scientific education outlookso as tosatisfy the need for high quality tech-talents as a result of economic and social developmentin Xiamen and the whole west coast of Taiwan Strait.

Contract Period: Commencing fromAugust2019toAugust2020

Workload: 14-18 teaching hours per weekfor 32-36 teaching weeksas well as participation in events of the college.

Job Responsibilities: Teaching Oral English Courses proposed by the college English department.

Qualification Requirements: Native English speaker with at least a Bachelor¡¯s degree, less than 60 years old, in good physical condition, wholehearted commitment to teaching, and with 2 years teaching experience or TESOL/TEFL certificate or equivalent is preferred.

Payment Standards for All Positions:

Annual pay (112000RMB)includes salary (70000RMB),benefit package (30000RMB) andbonus(12000RMB).

Benefit packageincludes accommodation(apartments on campuswill be provided with a low rent), travelallowances and insurances.

Bonuswill only be issued by assessment.
